PENGARUH LATIHAN WALL SQUAT TERHADAP DAYA TAHAN OTOT TUNGKAI PEMAIN BULUTANGKIS
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang : Daya tahan otot tungkai merupakan salah satu biomotor yang penting dalam permainan bulutangkis, dimana pemain harus bergerak mengikuti gerakan dari shuttlecock lawan tanpa adanya kelelahan. Fisioterapis dapat memberikan latihan berupa wall squat dalam meningkatkan daya tahan otot tungkai pemain bulutangkis. Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh latihan wall squat terhadap daya tahan otot tungkai pada pemain bulutangkis. Metode : Rancangan penelitian menggunakan penelitian experimental one group pre and post test with control group design. Kelompok perlakuan diberikan intervensi latihan wall squat dan latihan standar 3 kali per minggu selama 4 minggu. Sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya diberikan latihan standar dari pelatih. Total jumlah subjek adalah 20 pemain bulutangkis PB Spensaga. Hasil : Hasil uji beda daya tahan otot tungkai awal dan akhir kelompok I dan II menggunakan Uji Paired Sample t-test dengan kelompok I didapatkan hasil yang sama yaitu p = 0,000 (p<0,05). Uji beda post test kelompok I dan II menggunakan Independent Sample t-test didapatkan hasil p = 0,000. Selisih rata-rata didapatkan bahwa kelompok I mendapatkan hasil 10,7 dan kelompok II mendapatkan hasil 3,2. Kesimpulan : Ada pengaruh latihan wall squat terhadap daya tahan otot tungkai pemain bulutangkis.
